We may be a little biased over here, but seriously… why not?  Records are awesome.  Record STORES are awesome.  As such, there’s even a very special day to celebrate the awesomeness!

Saturday, April 17th is Record Store Day! Lucky for the citizens of our fair Cities, there is a whole crapton of activity going on.

Electric Fetus
- Giving away goodie bags of CDs & hourly drawings for prize packs of 7″ singles and lots of other cool stuff.
- We will have breakfast (most likely coffee, bagels, etc.) in the morning & a cook out in the afternoon
- Tickets to a special Solid Gold/Idle Hands show at Nick & Eddies to the first 200 people to spend $15 or more (excluding tix).
- 1:00 p.m.: DR. DOG In-Store Performance
- 4:30 p.m.: PAUL CEBAR in-store performance

Treehouse Records

- Extended hours – opening at 9am!
- Exclusive releases – mostly limited edition vinyl titles to be released.. over 200 releases!
- Hundreds of New Arrivals added to the used LP section!
- Hundreds of used records marked down to $1 – digger’s delight!
- More surprises…. but we’re keeping those a secret.
