Video Premiere: Here We Go Magic “Fangela”

Here We Go Magic‘s set may have been my favorite part of the Grizzly Bear show two weeks ago at the Cedar Cultural Center. It was certainly the liveliest part, not perfect by any means, but more endearing for the imperfection, awash in warm, well-meaning psychedelia. Luke Temple’s outfit are definitely benefiting from the exposure and when I spoke with them, seemed to be enjoying themselves on the road (drummer Peter Hale started joking about methods of offing oneself if the tour wasn’t any good.) No need to worry about that, though; the tour is good, the record is solid and the new video for “Fangela” that premiered at Pitchfork.tv is a treat.
