Mott the Hoople to reunite!

In an offhand on-line comment, Ian Hunter has let slip that Mott the Hoople will be playing 2 gigs in London in October.  I have a soft spot for Mott the Hoople- they represent some hope for me that David Bowie will appear, give me a song (“All The Young Dudes” in their case, they turned down “Suffragette City“) and lift me to semi-fame, fake K-Tel compilations and help pave the way for Hootie and the Blowfish.  Still, rock on.  Anyone wanna fly me to London?
