What does it all mean?

The name Cake in 15 comes from this quote by my friend Jen Paulson:

“I want to go HOME. But I get cake in like 15 so I’ll set aside the complaining for at least 30.”

It made me laugh my ass off. So that’s where this starts. Primarily I hope to entertain and maybe give some musical suggestions to whoever reads this damn thing. Maybe no one will read it, and that’s ok too. But my brain will be clearer (or more muddled, who knows) by purging it out to the world.

    Wow…that song really does leave you with a deep sigh…..and a want for more. He reminds me of the Old 97’s….and i love the Old 97’s, so I’m gonna have to find some more of his music….at the Fetus you say? I like your new blog….and I like your taste in music….so I’ll be tuning in.

    And the self promotion doesn’t bother me a bit….well deserved I’d say.

    Shawn – I had to buy the EP off the Sparrow House web, but the Fetus may very well have it in stock now. I got it the first week it came out after I heard the single.
